Since my election, I have been a member of the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Joint Policing Committee and have also raised awareness about the scourge of bogus waste collectors and rogue traders. In 2014 I expressed concern about the increase in crime in the Stillorgan area and promised an increased focus on preventative actions. I have liaised with Council officials for better lighting and the introduction of lighting in some areas i.e. Leopardstown Park and Drive.
