Graffiti is a pet hate of mine and is sadly visible across the county. I have attended graffiti removal training and DLRCC have removal kits available to residents’ associations. Graffiti is a form of vandalism and its removal costs the County Council money that could be spent more productively elsewhere. I have actively encouraged communities to get involved.
Leading up to the Dublin City Marathons I have placed motions on the council agenda requesting the removal of graffiti on the marathon route.
