Climate change is a key concern globally but we can all play our part locally. To date, I have put a strong emphasis on local participation by encouraging others and taking part myself in the various clean-up events around the county. I am delighted to join other Mount Merrion residents for a monthly clean-up and more recently took part in Beaufield Park and Killiney Beach clean-ups to continue the fight against litter in the county.

I recently met with the Clonmore Park group (beside St. Raphaela’s) to help organise a community clean-up day of this beautiful much-used park which will hopefully now become an annual event.
