In 2016 we were informed that Stillorgan Reservoir would have to be covered in a long-term project that would take many years. In my lengthy submission to Irish Water and DLRCOCO I insisted that there should be regular consultation and updates with residents in the area especially Brewery Rd, Stillorgan Heath, Stillorgan Wood and Lakelands and requested that a designated channel of contact would be provided for residents with queries or concerns about this lengthy complex project. I am delighted that my views have been taken on board and that a designated liaison officer has been appointed as a point of contact for residents. Work has commenced on this project and I am in regular contact with Irish Water to ensure that residents are kept updated on its progress.
